Getting Iomega "ZIP" drives to work under CTOS.
(information on this page

Pearce).
Things you will need
-
CTOS III, versions s1.3.3 and s1.3.53 tested.
-
Iomega SCSI "ZIP" drive, internal 100MB tested.
-
Some Iomega "ZIP" disks.
-
Mount / Dismount commands.
Using the Iomega "ZIP" drive.
-
In order to use the Iomega drive, you MUST have an Iomega disk in the
"ZIP" drive when you boot the CTOS server. This allows CTOS to "see"
the drive correctly.
-
If you are going to EJECT a disk, you should use the DISMOUNT command
first, then press the eject button. Otherwise you will confuse CTOS.
-
DISMOUNTing the disk, will allow you to MOUNT it later.
-
CTOS will format a ZIP disk.
A word on DOS / Windows 9x formatted ZIP disks.
-
CTOS will MS READ / MS WRITE to DOS disks.
-
CTOS will not read / write to Windows 9x formatted disks.
-
The initial volume password for a DOS disk is the same as the volume
name (ie. D1 for D1, D2 for D2 etc.)
Dismount / Mount Commands
-
The Dismount / Mount commands will allow you to Dismount & Mount
the "ZIP" disk at will.
-
The run file and source code was provided by Darrell Olson

The run file & submit file to install the command code is here
-
The source code is here
A note about the archive format used.
-
A Self Extracting RUN file was created using Zip Archive R12.3.120ish.
-
The .RUN was changed to a .ZIP so I could store it on Geocities. :-(
You will need to rename it back to .RUN BEFORE trying to extract it.
-
How to unzip the file is explained here!
