Specifications
Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard
PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0
Pentium II 350
64 MB ram.
Video: S3Trio3D (86C365), 4.0MB SGRAM, Bios level 2.08.07, AGP.

Results of my expermenting with a Intel SE440BX-2 based system.
Have been using this workstation as a diskless workstation:

The only problems I've found with the machine are:

Pentium II identified as 80486
CTOS reported a Hardware ID (see this note)
Wouldn't not boot with a Clientcard II.

Clientcard II problems.
With a Clientcard II, I was receiving either an E:B3 or E:B6, and the workstation would not boot from the cluster. Swapping to an Clientcard III fixed the problem.
I suspect that CPU/Bus timing is becoming an issue.
