General Information / Brief Bio

Hey...I'm Loren Davidson, and you're reading the page about me! First of all, I was born in Duncan, B.C. 18 years ago, and raised in the town of Lake Cowichan, B.C., Canada. I am the offspring of Bob and Michaela Davidson.

I am a graduate of LCSS (Lake Cowichan Secondary School) where I was an honor roll student. My major courses were Computer Science, Multimedia, and English. Throughout my wonderful high school years, I've developed my skills (at home and school) in computers, especially the Macintosh Operating System. For example, this web site was created in a couple of days, at home using a PowerMac G3. I mainly specialize in multimedia digital design, which includes web page authoring, desktop publishing and graphic design (examples are in the portfolio....find it in the menu above). I'm also currently attending the full-time New Media program at the Vancouver Film School.

I have also excelled in music with my drumming while having training in music theory and related skills. I also do a little bit of digital music composition and remixing (sequencing / sampling, etc. etc..) for a hobby on the side. My musical interests / influences include Nine Inch Nails, Pantera, Soundgarden, White Zombie, Metallica, Rush, and Pearl Jam. Some of these may be mentioned on the "links" page.
