Happy Easter? Meh...I guess 9:42 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Happy Easter Nintendophiles! Hope you had a great Easter, full of hollow chocolate bunnies and sweet candy goodness. Anyways, the new layout is coming along very slowly, but quite nicely at the same time. On another topic, a lot of news regarding Nintendo and the GameCube the past week. Some of that info includes a PSO name change, Sega developing F-Zero GC, confirmation of Starfox Adventure's delay until September, and the release of information regarding the plot of Super Mario Sunshine and it's US release date(August 26).

New Layout Coming Very Soon(Hopefully) 9:24 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Well, it's getting down to the wire. Spring Break is almost over. After tomorrow, I have to go back to school. Not only that, but I have a HUGE presentation I have to do when I come back. Anyways, after Spring Break is over, I obviously won't have as much time to work on this site. As I have mentioned before, I currently working on a new layout for this site. Right now, I am currently working on a new logo, after that, I won't have much left to work out. One things for sure though: this site will be a lot more slick and professional after this new layout is done. Expect the new layout done around a week or two from now.

Next on FOX: When Developers Attack! 1:33 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I am really starting to HATE Rare. Why? Well, rumor has it that Starfox Adventures is going to be delayed AGAIN until September. Neither Rare nor Nintendo have confirmed this, however, they both are expected to say something in the coming weeks. Rumor also has it that Eternal Darkness will be delayed AGAIN until July, possibly even August. As disappointing as this is, it isn't very surprising to most Nintendophiles out there that Nintendo would not release two major titles in the same month, let alone the same week. In the land of good news, however, rumor has it that Nintendo is seriously thinking of porting over the Japanese GCN game Kyojin no Doshin(Doshin the Giant), to make up for the delay.

2 New Sections! 9:30 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Wassup. I decided to go ahead and add those Anti-Xbox and Anti-PS2 sections earlier today. Both sections are filled to the rim with info about the Xbox and the PS2 that most people already know, assuming you following the industry fairly close. There's links to anti-Xbox/PS2 websites, clubs, and even pictures in there too. That's all for now Nintendophiles. Enjoy.

New Section! 6:35 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Hey yo. I added a new section today, Developers. In there, I BRIEFLY describe any developers currently developing GameCube games. Feel free to check it out. I'm still debating on whether to add that Anti-Xbox and Anti-PS2 section(s). Well, that's about it for now. L8r.

Massive Upload of Codes, New Layout, Resident Evil Movie 3:08 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I spent all afternoon uploading a crapload of new codes. There's like 3X as many codes now as there were before. On another note, as you can plainly see, I changed the layout a little bit. This is all just a small part of a big transition into a new layout I'm working on. I haven't decided on whether it will be a gradual or sudden change in layout. I'm not sure when it'll be done, but hopefully I'll have a general idea of what I want to do by the end of Spring Break. On one last note, after playing video games(mostly Conker's BFD and GoldenEye) for about 5 hours at my friend James' house yesterday, me, Chris Lawley, James and his girlfriend Renee, went to go see the Resident Evil movie. It wasn't too bad. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 7. For one, zombies weren't that big a part of the movie. However, on a good note, the movie explained a few things the game didn't(i.e. where the zombies came from). That, plus there were 2 tit shots in the movie, which saved the movie's score.

Massive Overhaul on Reviews and Previews 8:55 AM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I made a MASSIVE overhaul on the Reviews and Previews sections. I added a table so that not only can you now see the the name of a game, but also the developer, the genre, how many screens the review/preview has(if any), and the expected release date! Nifty, huh? Actually, more helpful than "nifty", whatever that means. Anyways, I gotta go get ready to go over to my friend James' house to play video games for a couple hours. I practiced a little last night, that way I could get the feel for the N64 controller again, as I kinda forgot how to hold it (gimme a break, I haven't used it for the past 5 months!).

More Previews, Possible Reviews coming, Conker's Bad Fur Day party 12:19 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I uploaded a bunch more Previews yesterday and a few more this morning. Actually, they're more of a press release than they are a preview, but either way, you still get the idea. I will try to add some Reviews later on today if I get the chance, but before I can do that, I have to write a paper for my English class due on Tuesday. Why not do it tomorrow night you say? Because I don't like having homework during the week, even if we DO only have 3 days of school this week. We only have 3 days of school this week is because starting Thursday is Spring Break. WOOHOO! Speaking of Spring Break, me and my friends James, Chris G. and Chris L.(yes, the one and the same Chris L.)are going to have a Conker's Bad Fur Day hack-n-slash fest sometime over Spring Break. We haven't decided when and where exactly, but we'll probably decide that tomorrow or Tuesday.

Less Amount of Future Updates Possible 12:33 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
What with the excitement of yesterday's announcement that Square finally coming back as a third-party publisher for Nintendo(!!!), I failed to mention something rather important yesterday. You see, one of the principals at my school asked me to redesign the school's website. I haven't decided if I should take her up on the offer or not, but if I do, theres no way in HELL I'll be able to update this website while I'm working on it. I just thought I should mention this. On an unrelated topic, I have absolutely nothing to do today, so I am going to work on a bunch of Previews, maybe some Reviews if I feel up to it. I'm also planning on creating a couple new sections entirely, one of which tentatively titled "Publishers", a section that will give info on all first, second, and third-party publishers that works for Nintendo. I am also thinking of making a "Anti-Xbox" and "Anti-PS2" section(s). I'm not really sure about those last two, but I'm seriously considering it. This is a Pro-GameCube website after all!

BREAKING NEWS: HELL FREEZES OVER, PIGS CAN FLY, AND THE UNITED NATIONS ACHIEVES WORLD PEACE 7:35 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I never thought I'd see the day! Yahoo! revealed today that Square and Nintendo are getting back in bed together to bring the fans the Final Fantasy experience on the GameCube and GameBoy Advance. The big news is not only is Square coming back, but Nintendo of Japan President Hiroshi Yamauchi is funding the return himself for Square's return, via Fund Q, the fund set aside to help spark game development on GameCube. The new company to be started by Square and Akitoshi Kawazu (one of Final Fantasy's developers), should be founded by the end of March. A quote from the announcement also revealed other big news, a deal to produce software allowing users of the GCN and the GBA to play together by the end of the year. It is expected that the first game to come out of this deal is most likely Final Fantasy XI, as Square has been pretty adamant about wanting the game on every console. A port of Final Fantasy X for GameCube and ports of the SNES FF games for GBA are also rumored to be in the works.

I Was Really Bored Yesterday 8:25 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I was really bored last night, so I made a table showing the differences between all video game consoles for the past 8 years. There's a couple of things missing that I still need to add, but besides that, it's rather interesting. On an unrelated note, some good news for 'Cube fans was released today, that news being that Microsoft is recalling ALL Xboxes in Japan due to a defect in the system that scratches the disc. According to Microsoft, it will take a week to 10 days to repair all Xboxes in Japan. HA HA HA, suckers!
