I would also like to officially present N.G.C.'s first official button. Feel free to take it and link us on your webpage. You can find the new button to the left <---.

Coming Soon to N.G.C. 7:23 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I came up with an idea for 2 new sections for this website a couple days ago. The first will be about Project: Dolphin, which is what the GameCube was known as for the longest time up until about 2 years ago. Basically this section will be about the history of the GameCube. The other section I came up with is about the history of Nintendo itself, in general. Both of these new sections are basically really huge editorials, but with pictures. Both of those sections should be up by the end of this weekend. Speaking of editorials, the Editorials section should be up and running pretty soon, hopefully before the end of May(at the latest). Other sections that have failed to be activated since the beginning of this site include the Walkthrus and Q&A sections. The reason for this is simple. A)Writing walkthrus take a long time, as you have to make it extremely detailed, thus you must spend hours on end playing the same game for forever; and B)no one has asked me any questions, hence I cannot answer any.

More Reviews and Previews Coming Soon 8:10 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Not much to update on. I was forced to move our Forums(mainly due to the fact that I forgot the password). Don't worry though, everything works fine again now. I plan on working on the Forums a little bit later on tonight and tomorrow afternoon because we get out of school early. On a completelu unrelated note, I plan on adding a bunch of Previews(including Bomberman Generation, Batman: Dark Tomorrow, Starfox Adventures, and others) and Reviews(Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, Spider-Man: The Movie, Resident Evil) real soon. Gotta go now, l8r.

N.G.C. Forums Are Up! 5:32 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Happy 4/20 everybody! Heh heh, seriously though, I managed to tidy up the Developers section a bit, it doesn't look quite so sloppy now. On another note, I finally got around to getting a message board system up and running, courtesy of EZBoards. Right now it's not much, and it needs A LOT of work, but it still able to be used for it's intended purpose. Enjoy!

Developers Is Back, Weird Nintendo Announcements 9:58 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I FINALLY fixed the Developers section. Well, sort of. What I mean is, it's back to what it looked like before, which is fine. The only thing I want to change with it is to line up the text part of it and shrink some of the pictures. In other news, Nintendo has been releasing some rather odd sections to their website, to games that have until recently never been heard of. Examples include: Super Mario World X(possible new name for Super Mario Sunshine?), Final Fantasy, Zelda Universe(possible new name for cel-shaded Zelda GC?), and Pichu Brothers: Party Panic(possible new name for Meowth's Party?). It should also be noted that Super Mario World X has been given a ESRB Teen rating, because the game supposedly contains alcohol and tobacco. Weird. Is Nintendo simply spreading false rumors to get us psyched for E3 2002, which is less than 2 weeks away? Most likely, but you can never rule out Miyamoto's motto about the "Nintendo Difference".

New Layout Issues Fixed 11:43 AM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I fixed a few things on the new layout regarding font colors and links this morning. I believe it's pretty safe to say that I have about 80-85% of all the sections integrated into the new layout. On a similar note, for some odd reason, the Developers section got deleted somewhere along the line when I was integrating the new layout. Oh well, that's what I get for trusting GeoShitties. Besides, I was planning on re-doing that section anyway. Unfortunately, in order to begin adding was I was going to add to the Developers section in the first place, I am going to have to rebuild what the Developers section originally looked like. Damn.

Viva La Revolucion! 8:51 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Welcome all to the new website of the revolution, the revolution of Nintendo's newest console, the Nintendo GameCube. If you used to visit the old site, you would know that the name of this site used to be called "Skaterdude's GCN Homepage". Well, things have changed drastically throughout the past 5 months, and ever since this website was founded by Chris Lawley on December 12, 2001, he has yet to update even once. Therefore, until he tells me otherwise, I hereby name this site as my own. This new site, called N.G.C., the Nintendo Gamer Coalition(using the same initials as the GameCube), is an alliance of gamers who play Nintendo consoles and are pro-Nintendo and anti-everything else. Welcome to the revolution...it is here to stay.

New Layout Finished...Finally 10:00 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I finally put what I consider the finishing touches on the new layout, and it is now ready to be integrated into the many sections of this website. I will start doing that tomorrow night. As for those reviews of Spy Hunter and THPS3, those will hopefully be up by this weekend.

Beta Version 2.0 Up and Running 7:03 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I messed with the new layout and changed a few things around. For the most part, this is what the final product will look like(with the exception of a change in font colors possibly). In other news besides the layout, I should have those reviews of Spy Hunter and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 tomorrow or Wednesday.

Beta Version of New Layout Now Viewable 9:16 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I just wanted to remind you all to set your GameCube's internal clock ahead one hour due to Daylight Savings Time(damn you Ben Franklin!). Also, after a lot of rushing and working a whole bunch, I finally have a beta version of the new layout I'm working on. It's FAR from perfect, and it still needs a lot of work, but I just thought I'd post this to give you all an idea of where I'm at. On one last note, I finally managed to get my reviews of Simpsons: Road Rage and James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire up. They both are VERY rushed, because I was really focused on working on the layout this weekend, so please forgive me. I should have a review of Spy Hunter, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, and SSX Tricky very soon. Also, because Chris has been neglecting this site, I am just going to go ahead and do that damnded SSB:M review.

More Reviews Coming Soon 8:20 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
I recently had a chance to play James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire, Simpsons: Road Rage, and Spy Hunter. I will have reviews of those 3 games very, very soon. Maybe later on tonight, but probably not. They will definitely be up this week for sure. On a completely unrelated note, the new layout is coming along nicely and could even possibly be integrated this weekend.

Switching Allegiances? Hell No! 10:02 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Happy belated April Fools, GameCubers. I never got around to fooling anyone this year, or even get fooled for that matter. Anyways, I borrowed my friend James' PS2. Up until this past weekend, the only game I have played is Grand Theft Auto III. But then I started playing Devil May Cry, which is very cool, but also very cheesy. Anyways, I let James borrow my GameCube, and so far, he says he doesn't like any of the games, except for Pikmin, which is claims is "okay". I can't believe he didn't like Super Smash Bros. Melee!!! Oh well, when we trade back our systems, I'll be sure to punch him. Once Resident Evil comes stateside for the 'Cube(April 30), I will buy that and then let him borrow it again. Then we'll see how much he likes Nintendo!
