Ziff Davis Media Filing for Bankruptcy? 11:46 AM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Yes, unfortunately it's true. The New York Times reported yesterday that Ziff Davis Media, parent company of Gamespot, the Official Playstation Magazine, Electronic Gaming Monthly and Xbox Nation, among others, will file for bankruptcy by the end of this week. The prepackaged bankruptcy seems to have been planned for a long time, as Ziff Davis Media is proposing to file for bankruptcy in order to cut its 450 million dollar debt by 155 million dollars. It is currently unknown how this will effect Gamespot, EGM, and their other magazines. In other news, the playing time of Star Fox Adventures was revealed today. Nintendo has announced that Rareware's upcoming game will be around 80 hours of gameplay. It has also been revealed that SFA will span TWO DISCS. YAY! And on one last note, I just want to say one thing: SHINE GET IN 26 DAYS!

Shine Get Almost Here! 9:30 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Sorry for not updating for so long. I have been EXTREMELY busy. Not only did a launch a new website about upcoming movies, but I have been hard at work contemplating a new layout for this site. I know that's not an excuse for not having those reviews up when I said they would, but it's all I got. Anyways, Super Mario Sunshine launched in the US only about a month from now. August 26 to be exact. Currently, I do not have enough(any) money to buy it, but hopefully I will soon. Unfortunately, Super Mario Sunshine is going to be more expensive for me than everyone else. You see, I have run out of memory on my Memory Card 59, therefore, when I buy Super Mario Sunshine, I am going to have to buy a new memory card too. I might buy one of those Memory Card 251's though, so I won't have this problem for a long time. I think they're about $20. Well, I have to go back to work on that new layout now. L8r.

BREAKING NEWS: VIDEO GAMES DO ROT YOUR BRAIN 12:40 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Wow. And I always thought that was just an old urban legend that mothers told their children to keep them from being glued to the TV. However, according to Professor Akio Mori of Nihon University, the longer people spend time on video games, the less activity they show in the prefrontal region of their brains. DAMNIT! I is need that part of my brayn. D'oh well. Anyways, you can read the article here. Also, I may not be able to do all 10 of those reviews I was going to do, as I am busy working on something else. It is looking more like 5 or 6 now. That's still better than nothing.

Eternal Darkness Review Is Up 10:46 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Well, I finally got my review of Eternal Darkness up. Yeah, I finally beat the game on Tuesday in about 14 and a half hours. Not too bad, but not as much time as I spent on Resident Evil(17 hours), but I'm not disappointed with the game what so ever. Anyways, I recently noticed that there are a lot of GameCube games out now, and I have yet to review many of them, some of which have been around since the launch back in November. Yes, that is pretty pathetic, considering this is July and it's almost November again. Therefore, I am making it my mission to review at least 10 games within the next week or two. I am very ashamed for having to do it like this, having waited so long, however, in the long run it will be worth it. Gotta go now, peace out.

I'm Baaaaaaaack! 11:17 PM CST by: Trent Dickerson
Sorry for the lack of updates fellow Nintendophiles. I would have updated sooner, but, I've been grounded form the computer for the past week, so there's no way I could have updated. I was extremely bored ALL week, because I also had my TV and video games taken away. I don't know why...something about spending too much time in my room, I don't know. All I know is, I finally got my computer and Internet priveleges back yesterday, and now I have a lot to update. For instance, I bought Eternal Darkness on Saturday, so I should have a review for that soon. It's a very excellent game and if you have a GameCube, I suggest you buy it. Anyway, I have to go now. I'll try to have that ED review up as soon as possible.
