Step 1

I like to draw a sketch first on Layer 0 with a light colour like baby blue. I gives me the basic shape of my object. If you don't like drawing sketches, you can skip to Step 3.

Step 2

Still on Layer 0, I use a darker colour other than black to go over my lines and create an outline of the object I'm drawing. This is where you should start adding in details.
