Step 3

First, MAKE SURE YOUR ON LAYER 1!!! Then, use the pencil tool to draw out the base shape. I made my lines look thick by going over them a few times. You could just use a thicker brush. After outlining, go to LAYER 0 and erase the sketchy lines.

Step 4

First, click on the seventh button TWICE. Make sure it looks like the seventh button like in the picture above. That will put a mask on it so you will not colour over the lines. If you're drawing in anime style, it is best that you colour with a thick pencil tool. If you want to make the picture look more realistic, you should use the watercolour tool. Here, I am just experimenting with watercolours cause I don't use it often... ^.^;;
