  1. Where do you get your info?

Interesting question but I get my info from different manga and anime. I have access to 2 versions of the manga (Japanese and Chinese), and 4 versions of the anime (Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, and French). I do have my translators for the Chinese and French versions. I have Rowena Lim for the Chinese version, and my Mom for the French version ^_-

If you guys live here in the Philippines, you can buy SM manga and TV episodes and movies from different SM malls. Just look for CATS or Comic Alley, which are quite easy to find. There are also a lot of CATS branches throughout Manila, even one in my village in BF Parañaque. Maybe you can get some information about these branches from Pinoy Otaku's webmaster. Now, if you can't afford to buy SM episodes and movies, you might as well be patient and tune in to ABC5 every Saturday 6:30 PM.

For those who are living elsewhere, especially in Canada or in the States, I may not be able to help you. I can't help you in Hong Kong, either, 'cause the only shopping place I know there are the ones in Kowloon. Not good *sigh*

  2. How did you learn HTML?

Well, I first started in Microsoft Word 97. Back then I thought it was the greatest thing I've ever accomplished ^^;; Then, I realized that the possibities of manipulating your page are too limited when you're using an HTML editor (and one as lousy as MSWord to boot!). What I did, masochistic lady that I am, was open all the HTML files I created in MSWord through notepad. Of course, I knew that everything looked like a bunch of undescipherable tags in notepad, but as I looked at every tag, I realized what they were for. In two days I was still creating a web page skeleton through MSWord, but editting it through notepad. A month later, I dropped MSWord altogether. For more of this site's history, please browse into Seasons.

  3. What do you use to make your graphics?

The methods I used to learn graphics designing were as masochistic as the means I used to learn HTML. I can't afford to buy those fascinating power tools or graphics enhancer so everything I did, from the glowing stuff to the drop shadowy images to the transparent text effects were all done through layering in Adobe Photoshop 4.0. Late in 1998, though, I have gotten hold of Kai's Power Tools and Eye Candy (I forgot what versions ^^) and on January 5, 1999 I *drum roll* just installed Adobe Photoshop 5.0! I find that my life seems to have eased a little. Although most of the time I still layer my images because there are some things that you just can't command Eye Candy to do, especially when you're too keen on your images' details.

  4. How much did you spend for the entirety of your page? You also have a vanity URL, how much did you pay for that?

Like I said, I can't even afford those graphic tools and other things like books that most popular people use for their web pages. I find it heartbreaking to spend a cent on something that I consider a hobby. Excluding the ISP fee and the whole PC unit and its contents before I had a web page, I spent virtually nothing. My graphics tools are free, courtesy of my friends. My browsers are free, donated by my friends, too. I learned HTML and graphics designing by myself 'cause I can't afford to buy HTML or Adobe Photoshop tutorial books (books like that usually cost about US$10.00 here and I can't part with ten dollars) so my tutorial was free. I'm on free GeoPlus so the 28 megabytes of web space and vanity URL are free. Heck, even my ISP is owned by a family friend, so you can probably just call me "The Lucky Pauper" ^_^

Oh, for those who are interested in GeoPlus, there's a monthly fee of US$4.95. But you can try it out first, so there's a thirty-day trial period. This basically gives the GeoCities homesteaders 25 megabytes of web space and other fantastic features that you can read more about if you click here. There's a 30-day FREE trial offer too!

  5. I specifically asked you to e-mail me but you snubbed me...

Please understand ;_; When I was still in college and this site was new, my schedule went like this: Wake up at 5:30 AM in time for an 8:30 AM class. Traffic is really heavy, you know, so I have around 2-3 hours travel time. Last class ends at 8:30 PM and I get home at around 11:00 PM. I do GeoCities Community Leader duties until 12:00 MN, then my assignments (thesis, projects, etc.) until 3:00 AM. At 3:00 AM I sleep and I wake up at 5:30 AM. During the day I not only have to deal with school work, I also have organizational duties and other extra-curricular activities to attend to, so my professors don't even complain when I doze off in the middle of their classes. Oh, and on Thursdays I go out on dates, so my Wednesday nights are really heavy (need to work double-time) ^_^

Now that I have a full-time job, I basically have the same schedule. I wake up at 4:00 AM to attend to client calls (some of my clients have night shifts) and sometimes I get to go home at around 12:00 MN. The latest that I arrive at the office is 7:00 AM and the earliest I leave--if I'm lucky, but it's very very rare--is at exactly 5:00 PM. I hardly have enough time for myself.

  6. I asked you for suggestions regarding my page but you snubbed me...

Aside from the schedule I have, which I already mentioned above, I would like to emphasize that since I'm a GeoCities Community Leader and Tokyo Ginza's Liaison, GeoCities homesteaders will always be the top priority in my e-mail priority list. Please understand.

  7. How about Sundays?

Please please ;_; It's my rest day! And the only time I could be wilder than my usual self ^_-

  8. They say you're a witch, a hacker and a crackerjack...

A witch? *gasp*! But the only chant I know is "Open Sesame" and that's when I try to open the fridge door! ^^;; Now, while I do sincerely wish that I can hack, I really don't have the talent. And, uhm, what's a crackerjack?

  9. What do you think about the image thieves isse?

So I don't repeat myself, just click on this link.

  10. What do you think about the newbies vs. elites isse?

So I don't repeat myself, just click on this link.

  11. What's the real spelling of Haruka's name?

So I don't repeat myself, which I just did for the third time ^_-, just click on this link.

  12. Why do you have such radical views about Haruka?

Well, I guess it's because I can relate to her personality and I guess in anime themselves--any anime--'cause I think their origin is close to home. Furthermore, I majored in three disciplines, namely: psychology, sociology, and anthropology, so I guess I view her in the eyes of a socio-anthropological psychologist (if there ever is such a word ^^;;), simply put, in the eyes of a behavioral scientist. There are many ways in which a certain character of an anime (or even real life people) can be perceived so I can't really say that my perception is the accurate one. We all have different perceptions of a lot of things and sometimes mine can be considered too "radical."

  13. Are you Haruka?

Nope! I don't have short blond hair, I'm only short (without the blond hair). I have shoulder-length brownish-black wavy hair and I think I look more feminine than masculine. However I could fantasize being Haruka once in a while ^_- Although there's one passion that Haruka and I both share: racing. Wether it's track and field or just regularly racing with taxi drivers, it doesn't matter as long as it has something to do with speed and power.

  14. Nice page! Go to my page and sign my gbook!

Okay, I'd probably go directly to your gbook without looking at your page and say, "Nice, thanks for signing my gbook." For more details please click here.
