Updates

  • Friday: August 20, 1999 -->> I've really got nothing much to say except to not touch any of the links below because Ruk decided to do an overhaul of the entire site and Turbulence is no longer the leader here. That's all. Oh, and Ruk's got chicken pox so sorry for those who might try to contact her.

  • Wednesday: April 17, 1999 -->> New index page, nothing more. We just changed the links, etc. Oh, and we've got a new Shopping Center at the Fridge! We revamped the Fridge, btw, so there are a lot of new stuff there already, so please drop by!

  • Tuesday: March 9, 1999 -->> Due to insistent public demand and complaints (from e-mails to our gbook), Ruk has finally decided to open the Enchantress Lover section, except she's no longer going to use the old Enchantress Lover write-up, but she re-wrote it and came up with a new title, Embracing the Tides. Would you guys believe the only reason she wasn't able to open the site was because she felt lazy to re-write and couldn't think of a new layout?

  • Wednesday: January 27, 1999 -->> Today is Haruka Ten'ou's birthday and a special site is celebrating with the rest of the best Haruka/SailorUranus sites you'll find on the net. Please go to this Month's Favorite Site to find out where the celebration is!

  • Sunday: January 11, 1999 -->> Happy new year to everyone from Ruk and Aya! As our New Year's gift, we've finally come up with new updates. Real updates because there's a new section and a new journal entry.

  • Thursday: December 16, 1998 -->> Since Ruk is not yet well (Dengue Fever, as some of you may already know), there are no new updates except for the Awards page again and some revisions on the Rings page. I also took the liberty of choosing the new favorite site for the month of December. All these can be found in the Wall of Gold Cups.

  • Saturday: November 7, 1998 -->> I know all of you have been waiting for new updates, but there has been a lot of problems lately. Aside from the reason that Ruk gave you (as to why she turned over her management duties to me) on the update September 5, here are a few other reasons for our current state:

    • Ruk has been very busy with her job for the past three months, so much that I don't even see her. She's gone hours before I wake up and arrives way way past my bedtime (I sleep at 12MN). To say that she's busy is an understatement. "Killing herself slowly" is more of an apt phrase.
    • She's very very sick. Has been sick for the past two months and she's in the worst shape I've ever seen her in. I would certainly appreciate it if "elite-haters" (frequently found in the SMZ Forum) keep their flames to themselves or maybe save them to those more popular and more active/healthier "elites".

Nevertheless, she tried to make an update while she was offline in her *ahem* technologically-challenged company (if that's the politically correct term for "primitive"). We're updating the Awards page and the Monthly Favorite Site.

  • Saturday: October 17, 1998 -->> Turn over has been accomplished. Ruk recycles old sections of her pages and are now uploaded. New section (Subject: Sword Princess) is opened as well.

  • Sunday: October 11, 1998 -->> Sky Senshi @ the Racetrack is not under a new management. Sky Senshi @ the Racetrack is dead, but, it will be replaced. Not everything will go, of course, there will be a lot of pages here that still have the remnants of the old site, but there will be a new arrangement. Ruk will be doing the offline work and I, Ayako (Aya for short), will be doing the online work. Meaning, she does all the design and content of her pages offline, while I do the uploading and generally guarding and maintaining this site. Please be patient, task turn-overs are never easy.

  • Monday: September 5, 1998 -->> Sky Senshi @ the Racetrack is dead, but as I am a GeoCities Community Leader, it will remain up here for referrences by those who need my help at GeoCities. These are people who may or may not be Anime fans. For the sake of those who have been left hanging too long by my unopened sections, I will finish all of the sections, but this site will no longer be updated--unless GeoCities require me to.

I'm still looking for a way to transfer the index page of Sky Senshi @ the Racetrack to a subdirectory, maybe, but this space will no longer be for a BSSM character alone. And it will no longer be majorly maintained by Ruk. We all have a lot of choices to make and this is a major decision for me. If you all want to know the basic reason why I have to do this, click here. In short, I'm tired and exhausted from real life work and I just don't want to come home to another turbulent community, that is the BSSM Virtual Community. I need a lot of space for myself.

Like those who are very close to me, I do not make threats, I make promises. And those people who know me very well know that once I give my word I keep it. Once I say my page is dead, then it is dead. I don't do this for glory or for trying to get more visitors to this page.

    My final words...
The Shadow Concept: The things we hate most in others are the things we most hate in ourselves.

  • Sunday: September 27, 1998 -->> Ah! At long long last I'm able to put my new article into HTML. So you guys would know what I'm talking about, I've just opened The Animus: Sir Haruka??. Just click and see what I have for you guys.
  • And before I forget! I know a lot of you guys know how much I hate campaigning for awards, especially for the Amazoness Quartet's awards (too much publicity, y'know), but I'm not campaigning for myself. Nope! I'm campaigning for these three people. I just hope you guys trust my judgement and vote for these people:

Category 1 (Combo Pages): SailorMoon CyberCity
Category 2 (Shrine Pages): Fire Senshi's Realm
Category 3 (Miscellaneous): The SM Toolbox

Now all you have to do is cut and paste the categories mentioned above and mail to aqvote@yahoo.com. Thank you so much for all of your support! You all have my eternal gratitude.

  • Friday: September 18, 1998 -->> I have written only one article for this week's update. I have no other new updates besides this one because I think it's time that I rest for a while. If you want to see the new article, it's all those pent-up thoughts inside my head during the Newbies Vs. Elites feud. Please click on to Ruk's Red Car and read what I have to say.

  • Monday: September 14, 1998 -->> Yehey! The first section of my anniversary special has finally been opened today, that's Bishoujo Senshi: A Cultural Reflection. Now I can rest for the whole week.
  • Oh, and please don't forget to vote for ChibiVenus, Leto-chan, and CJ (Initial U) at Apatt's SM Zone Contest for Newbies! Yehey!
  • Congrats to my Baby Sis for becoming one of Anipike's Weekly Picks! Yeah! [I swear I must've taken too much sugar lately, I'm so hyper! Or maybe it's just the thrill of being able to add an extra page on a weekday @_@]

  • Sunday: September 13, 1998 -->> I've finally uploaded the anniversary special (which is way past overdue!). It can now be found on the newly opened Site Seasons page. I'm still missing one page there, which is also on the anniversary special but maybe I can upload that tomorrow or something. I'll just probably find a way to sneak into my boss' comps again @_@.

  • Saturday: September 12, 1998 -->> Obviously, I strayed away from my goal to open up new sections today and revamped the 1-800-SKYSENSHI and the Windows of Michiru, the latter I just revamped yesterday -_-. I'm actually trying to finish the unfinished anniversary special, and probably by tomorrow I'd be able to upload Sir Haruka?? after borrowing Nao-chan's scanner.
  • New neptune background graphic stored at the Help Office. Available for download.

  • Saturday: September 5, 1998 -->> I've finally opened another section at the Locker. The Anima: Lady Haruka replaces the old article entitled The Lady in Haruka.
  • This new section is created in the memory of my beloved friend, Charmaine Yap, who passed away last August 25, 1998. May you forever be in peace, Maine, and let the wind carry your soul to rest.

  • Saturday: August 22, 1998 -->> The new index page is once again changed to a newer index page (I'm probably confusing you guys with all these revamps, gomme!). Well, if you missed seeing the new index page before this latest one, you can click here.
  • New section opened, 1-800-SKYSENSHI. This one contains a new write-up, new graphics (but lesser quantity), and also has links to the original article titled The Sky Senshi and the Filipino version of the original article titled Mandirigma ng Langit. This page is a lot faster than the original article.

  • Thursday: August 20, 1998 -->> Revamped sections (on the design, anyway) are now open. These are the ones with links to be found on the index page, especially the links below (Ruk's Red Car and Wall of Gold Cups), and are probably the easiest to finish (but there are some pages that remain as they were, untouched and un-"revamped"). I'm gonna start sweating after these, but since I don't have office this Saturday, I think I can manage to finish the others. ^^;;
  • Please be patient with the design of the index page ^^;; I kinda ran out of design/layout ideas, but I'll change the look of that as soon as I think of a new idea.

  • Sunday: August 16, 1998 -->> I'm starting over again with this site (me feeling the aftermath of losing all my files when my PC was reformatted ;_;). There are sections that are being scrapped and there are those that are being retained. I'm still trying to decide which sections I should scrap or maintain so this will look a little disorganized yet. As of the moment, I've begun with the index page and I'll just jot down the updates here as I go along. Please bear with me. Thank you very much.
