Why Sigma Lambda?:
Many people think to join a sorority to gain instant friendship
or popularity, but I already had a ton of friends and didn't care if I was
popular or not. I was looking for something different, not somebody to
just hang with, but something that was going to add to my life and I got
that from Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Senoritas Latinas Unidas. Not only did I
join a group of intelligent, dedicated women, but I gained a family that I
can always turn to no matter what.
My hermanas are close even when I am far. Even if we don't see each other
often, our reunions are emotionally filling and spark that love that I can
only feel for people dear to my heart. We have shared more than just
letters, pledging, and college experiences. To me, my sisters have been
there to share my life. The milestones and the stepping stones. Thats how
it will be Hasta La Muerte. I love you girls! Miss you mucho!
