Profile: H. Patricia graduated from Oswego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Spanish Literature in May of 1992. She continued her education at Syracuse
University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Literature,
Language, Linguistics & Culture. Patricia is currently a Spanish / Italian
teacher at the Bronx High School of Science. She is currently in pursuit of
her second Master's Degree in Education.

Why Sigma Lambda?: Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Seņoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority
Inc. truly strived for everything I did as an individual, I know the power
that exist in numbers. Unifying under the same cause with women like me and
women so very different than me, provided me an opportunity unlike any I had
ever had. I selected Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Seņoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority
Inc. because it embodied a sisterhood no other organization had demostrated.
The Hermanas of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Seņoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority Inc.
were academic achievers, they were geniune, true to themselves, their culture,
and their goals. They were a mere reflection of me!
