Welcome to the Safety Management Products Review page. Each month you will find a new review of commercially available safety management references, training material, software, and safety support products. Because compliance requirements for DoD organizations vary from those of commercial organizations, I will try to focus on products that can meet the needs of DoD safety managers. At the end of each review, I will score the product using a scale similar to the "four star" scale.
Four Safety Cross Scale
Four Crosses -- Highly recommend for DoD safety managers as an essential piece of their program.
Three Crosses -- Recommended, most material applies to DoD safety offices.
Two Crosses -- Only certain pieces apply directly to DoD safety programs bu the information is of benefit.
One Cross -- Product does not meet the needs of DoD safety orgnizations.
