Process:
Candidate Groups:
Use information from your text and Internet sources to create a
resume for your candidate.
His/Her name can be creative but must include the word Beowulf
somewhere in the name.
Addresses can be creative but must be applicable to the poem’s
information.
Dates must be based on text information.
Resume and cover letter formats must be correct according to
researched information.
Your group must hand in both the resume and the cover letter.
Council Groups:
Use information from texts and Internet sources to determine a job
description for potential candidates so that you will be able to include this
description in your memorandum.
Use information from texts and Internet sources to create 10 possible questions that the council could use to find the best employee.
Use information from the text and Internet sources to compile a
list of 10 questions that the potential employee might ask the council. These
questions must include the council’s possible response.
Decide how many members of the council will actually interview
potential candidates and the process the council will use to conduct the
interview. Write a memorandum to King Hrothgar in which you outline this process
and the job description.
Your group must hand in the list of questions from the council,
the list of potential employee questions and possible council responses, and the
memorandum. Remember that any information that is found in the poem must be
accurate. All other information can be creative.
