Hello everyone! I'm bernice. I have a life and i
would very much like to share it with you!
I dont do much though. At school
everyone hates me. I dont talk to very many
people. At home i sit around and listen to music.
Only two remotely interesting things have ever
happened to me: First, the best day of my life.
The best day of my life occured last
year. Me and whitney "stalked" a kid named Chizz.
He was good friends with soup. Soup talked to me
once. He asked me for change, but all i had was a
penny. Later that same day i threw that same penny
at Liver Bingo (my husband's) head. :) Happy times.
Well, back to the "stalking". It wasnt really
stalking. Me and whitney were in health class
together last year first semester. I would sit there
and draw stick figures all hour. One day whitney
said "wouldnt it be funny if we stuck that in chizz's
locker" so we did. It was terrific. He got
absoultly terrified. We would be standing right next
to him while he freaked out and be laughing at him
and stuff. He never got it. We heard him tell one
of his friends that whoever it was must have gotten
the wrong person. In the next note we wrote "no
chizz, its for you" (we used his real name in place
of chizz) He started leaving notes for us as well.
It was a great few weeks until he found out it was
us. Now its funny cause when we walk into the
cafeteria he'll walk out and when we walk out he'll
walk in. He completly avoids us. :) That was the
happiest time of my life... :( Oh well
The
second thing is the REAL best day of my life. It
happened Saturday, April 22, 2000. I saw the
Smashing pumpkins!!!!! finally after six years of
waiting! We got there a half an hour before doors
opened (the state fair coluseum) but we snuck up the
side and got in much quicker. We stayed on the
mainfloor and were maybe three feet away from the
stage where billy was gonna be. We stood for an hour
before the concert even started. When the concert
did start chaos broke out. Everyone pushed forward
and the people in front were crushed. I had my
lunchbox with me and it was shoved into my stomach to
where i couldnt breathe. But all that was worth it
because up on that stage, a few feet from where i
stood was BIllY!!! He was wearing the leather dress
thing from the everlasting gaze video! He was so
beautiful. I couldnt even react, i was just in shock
and i thought i was gonna die because i hadnt been
able to breathe for a while. He opened with some
song (it wasnt a pumpkins song, i'll find the title
later) I cant even remember the order of the songs
but i'll do my best. nevermind, i found the setlist online:
Rock on
the everlasting gaze
tear
Glass and the ghost children
blew away
Stand inside your love
this time
i of the mourning
To sheila
Disarm

the best day of my life. So sore though. very much worth it anyways...
ok, since then i've had much more stuff :)
much much more :)
whee!
i saw moby in concert :)
it was wonderful! he puts on such a wonderful show, hopping around the stage all moby like :)
it was adorable.
me, jasmine, seffy(jasmine's sister) and lynn all went.
getting there was quite an adventure.... lynn hadnt driven for a while.. we ended up going down one way streets in detroit... a nice cop helped us out though, and we found the state theatre all right after that.
we went inside and me and jazzy and seffy bought tee shirts :)
i got the little idiot shirt :)
it's adorable.
we ended up right up by the front bar :) the opening act was ok, just extreamly loud... extreamly...
it was sick.
hybrid, that's who it was.
intresting.
anyway,then moby came on!!!
:)
he played songs :)
lots of songs, mostly off of play, :)
he had so many curtain calls :)
his bassist, greta, really like me and jasmine, she like waved at us and threw her water bottle at us and stuff :)
i touched moby when he came over to our side of the stage, he was like "something must be wrong over here, there's all this screaming" he's so cute, he kept playing these little mini-covers of songs...
:)
anyway, after the show i met the bassist, greta, and she went into her tour bus and got all of us water to drink :) that was really nice of her :)
then moby came out!!! :)
he was so sweet and small and soft spoken :)
adorable.. :)
he signed my ticket stub, water bottle and a play postcard :)
i gave him a package of sweet pickle relish and jasmine gave him a candy necklace :)
then he kissed me on the cheek :)
it was a wonderful night :)
yes, indeed :)
sigh... :)
