The Commodore Page

Commodore is a company that has influenced the home computer market for many years.

!!!ATTENTION!!!
I have been heading up a project to compile a complete list of all C64 carts and their rarity. Response from the newsgroups has been enthusiastic and supportive. The rarity rating is not yet available, but the list is, as well as the start of a description list of those carts! All contributions are welcome, and proper credit will be given.

The VIC-20

I almost passed this one, thinking it was a C64, but the color was 'funny' so I had a closer look. Sure enough, it was a Vic, and it was complete with power supply and all the hook-ups. I had never even seen a VIC-20 cart a month before, now, they are surfacing according to my cycle theory... =)

The Commodore 64

This system is actually pretty nice. I bought two of them for five dollars, complete in their original boxes. One didn't work, but the other did! I found two of the disk drives for five dollars each later that week. They, too, were in their original boxes. What is cool is that the C64's had the manuals for the disk drives so the fact that they were missing from the drives themselves was no big deal. I have a few games on disk for this system, but have one cart on the way...

The Commodore Plus 4

Another great item from my first big thrift store find. This nice looking machine came complete in its box, all for $4.95. I haven't hooked it up yet, but according to the box, it has a lot of built in software. We'll see!
