WET #28: Opus 101-- Finally May 30, 1999 WET 28: Opus 101 Opus the penguin philosopher is one of my favorites. I cut out the last Bloom County Sunday strip and put it on my wall. It's still there in memory of old times. When Opus showed up in this week's WET collection, I knew I had to do something to honor him. This is the result. (I didn't use the cat from the original because it just didn't quite look like Bill!) The music (which I scanned in from an old book) will be familiar to anyone who listened to radio comedy in the 50's. I believe it was Jack Benny who played this so memorably on his violin. Everything on this page was done in Paint Shop Pro 5, using only the original filters and functions supplied with the program.
