This week, we were given an interesting collection of images in time for Halloween. I used all the images, but in a bit different way than might have been expected, although I think the end result is a bit eerie anyway. LOL

The background was made by using the mosaic function on the graveyard scene. The trees were resized, embossed, layered and blended. The "sun" was distorted vertically and horizontally, and "smeared" to get a rayed effect. All of the ornaments were created from the remaining images.

I did a lot of playing with various distortions (especially vertical perspective), as well as using color adjustments as needed to coordinate the color scheme.

Everything on this page was done in Paint Shop Pro 5, using only the original filters and functions supplied with the program.
