Welcome to the Annie Warhol Gallery!
When I was an undergraduate in college, Andy Warhol's portraits were a big influence on my own artistic direction. In 1981, Warhol came to Colorado State University while I was a junior. CSU purchased three of his soup cans and I was thrilled to be able to get his autograph. After college in 1986, I entered a Siggraphics competition and won first place in the "Computer Assisted" category for a series of self-portraits entitled "Ann does Andy does Ann."
Although I no longer work figuratively with my physical art, I still enjoy making series of portraits digitally, which are shown in the gallery. I will be adding more portraits in the future...hopefully YOURS!
