This picture was the first result of looking for similarities
in the pictures I had already taken. Later, as the
exhibition deadline closed, I would be more deliberate in
my choice of subject.
The leaf transposed on Ruth's back is a plant at my Mother's house. I suppose, this and a fleshy sensuality of other flower images here, lead to me playing with flower forms in the figure work later on.
