Yet I have slept with beauty in my own weird way

And have made a hungry scene or two with beauty in my bed

And so spilled out another poem or two, and so spilled out another poem or two

Upon the Bosch-like world - Lawrence Ferlingetti.

I don't know why I thought they must be fucked -up except they were very beautifull

Lawrence Ferlingetti.

It is night, now all the flowing fountains speak louder. It is night, now all the songs of love is awake... a desire for love stirs in me, speaking the language of love... I do not know the happiness of those who take... A hunger grows out of my beauty. -Friedrich Nietzsche.

"fuck the humans, the eat and shit more than they are worth" -Ryan Churchill.

"I wish and wish and wish upon my star, but it never happens... so FUCK DISNEY!" -Ryan Churchill.

"The soul is such a fragile thing: naked, golden, pure.

It decends out of the ether, into the world of forms

entrapped , enmeshed... imprisoned.

And with each passing year, another layer of fless and blood, pain and abuse

Is woven around it...until eventually the soul doesn't even know itself as a soul

It identifies instead with the layers.

"I am flesh" it says "I am blood."

I am pain and abuse

I am heavy with time

I am sodden with age

I am darkness."

JM DeMatteis from "The Last One."

I am deadened here.

I am slipping toward the door.

As I seem to understand , you let me fix myself.

So I go to work

Hammer blows to the gears, the springs straighten and this machine stops

Too late you find as I fall to the floor

Miscellaneous gears explode against the ground.

A popping spark is my life expelled.

And it is all gone, no thoughts are imparted.

Who knows what lies in the mind of an insane machine

A broken soul, a distorted dream. -Tim LaCroix.

"I'm just crazy for diamond studded watch fobs!" -Daffy Duck.

Ode to the woman behind me that must have big breasts because she smells so good.

You were so lovely there naked, shaved bald, tied to a tree.

You were licking pictures of Ernest Borgnine, you didn't care

I wish they were pictures of me.

Oh smile that sweet ode to joy

Makes the rubber of my shoes boil

Make me want you as a toy

Who smeared you with caster oil?

As long as wimpers escape me

I feel life shall just plod

But if you were to surprise and rape me

I would bow down to god.

 -Tim LaCroix

As darkness comes spare the confusion in the sad distracted mind.

Even here the truth of what I am I do not know.

-Edgar Allen Poe.

The motion of feathers in strobe.

 She labors without you

The days press on

A few dots on the line

You would weep - you would wine...

The room is dark and golden

The air hangs heavy

She is bent over at the waist

We all absorb- we all arise

Slipping two minutes at a time

The loosened cog

A hole in the plastic

It makes you blur-it makes you blind

One night with coffee and birds

Alone in the park

The light flickers

She is the bond- she is the bird

 Jeff Heneghan.

I see the things that drag themselves along,

all the things that flutter and soar are all gone

-Tim LaCroix

"Sweetness I was only joking when I said I would like to smash every tooth in your head" -The Smiths.

An agreeable laugh went away today

Taking with it the myrth of ages past

All the smiles and hugs are disolved with my tender care

I feel it replaced by a strong sense of disillusionment

And a bloody mallet for a statement

And a burning flame for a smile

A reproachful distance for a hug.

And I continue, like that insane flutter that is life

With a moan I will grow my hair long.

I will let it all lose control.

And sit and sob and cut myself with the blades of my own inadequacies

-Tim LaCroix.

Oh sure!

You bastard poets talk of love

And the petals of every flower that dared to bloom for you.

Talking as if perfection is attainable, and a woman is the bandaid of all the worst troubles

I denounce your prattling words with vehemont spirit and a dispairaging grace.

The love you speak of has fled into dreams and dreamers.

To reach towards beauty is to let your hand to be fuel for fire.

IT BURNS!

IT HURTS!

I want no part of beauty

I want no part of love

I want no talk of flowers.

-Tim LaCroix

Darkness and light are feelings

Not something you are, or can ever be

They come and go

Like dreams and nightmares

Like shadows in the mist.

-Tim LaCroix

They have all got daggers pressed upon my skin,

One wrong move and they push them in.

-Tim LaCroix

I have seen such ambivalence

To pain and sorrow both

I have seen so much use of it

That I will not approach.

-Tim LaCroix.

You would surely make the petals of a rose cry

If they but had an eye

You truly are a sweeter mix

Even if you teach the thorns new tricks.

-Tim LaCroix.

I sit in an uncomfortable chair staring out into the night

No beauty to rest my eye on, only an unyielding blackness.

And as I rise from an uncomfortable chair, I enter the night

In hope that someone else sitting in an uncomfortable chair

Will see a star.

-Tim LaCroix.

Life after life goes by,

Without poetry

Without seemliness

Without love

-Levertov.

I know I look good in blue,

But that is no reason for what you do.

-Eves Plum.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in't

Will you walk out of the air my lord? -Shakespeare.

Admit it, other persons are often puzzling. -Byron Byrne Social Psychology text book.
