| "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light"
~Ephesians 5:8~
Children Of Light
On my window ledge
I will sit
Until the light surrounds me
And I am
Once more
A child
Rags cover
My simple wounds
I reach out
To blind people
Who cannot hear my cries
My chains have been broken
Yet I am still held
In bondage
In someone's eyes
In these dreams
Which are not mine
I don't know why it seems
As if I am being
Shot through the sky
But as I sit here
I can see within
Myself and you
Children of Light
Their eyes are full of hope
They are so different
Standing there
Inside those pages
Where they have made a promise
