I visited Washington, D.C. a while ago, and while I was there, I saw the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I was stunned, because you stand there, and you look at this wall, and you see these names staring back and you, but they seem like more than names, because as you stand there, they are. And you touch the wall, and you feel as if when you turn and walk away, you'll be taking a little of every person who fought in that war with you.
So when I got home, this is what I wrote.
