CH'USPA (Coca Bag) 19th century. Southern Department of Cusco. Alpaca wool. Complementary warp weave, separate fringe of unspun dyed alpaca wool. Natural dyes and mixed iconography of native and European symbols. Prominent in the center strip of designs is the the Hapsburg double-headed eagle with Inti (sun) Pallay above and below it.
