Education: Brown University, A.B., 1962, with honors in American Civilization. Columbia University, M.A., 1966, in American History, under Woodrow Wilson, N.Y. State Regents and International Fellowships. King's College, University of London, 1964-65, as a Fulbright Scholar. Further studies in music and theatre at Morley College in London and the New School in New York. Phi Beta Kappa.

His works have appeared in a great many exhibitions throughout the world, as well. His lectures and presentations have been extensive, too.
