BOOKS & REVIEWS

Most of the books I read are fantasy/science fiction, with a touch of mystery every once in a while. I've always loved to read. However I think I got my big "addiction" to books is when I stopped watching t.v. for a year. My parents and I saw a news story where a kid gave up watching t.v. for a year and his parents gave him $10,000. Well, my parents didn't have that kind of money, but since I was sorta addicted to t.v., a prize of $1,000 for no t.v. for a year was still a worthy challenge. And I did it. I believe I started with reading mysteries, like Nancy Drew mysteries. I think I read every single mystery book my school library had. When I exhausted their supply, I went on to the County Library. I then started reading Isaac Asimov's science fiction books and also discovered that he wrote mysteries too.

In trying to save some money, I've begun reading several books from my husband's collection, and re-reading some books I haven't read in a while. We have a large collection of books - they fill over eight bookshelves. On this page I'm listing the books I've read and hopefully can post an occassional review.
