Know Belinda!

Here are some pictures of my most recent hair. It's shorter than it's ever been since I was about seven years old. And the color varied from day to day. I have bleached strands that I dye periodically, and fade from wash to wash.

Here's me at my 2000 birthday party! (32 years old.)

As you can see, there were a lot of balloons. I think we actually had more balloons than people. It was a fun party.
I danced with a handful of South American goat hooves for the first time. (And maybe the last.)

Once again my extremely generous coworkers gave me a whole heap of flowers for my 1999 birthday. But the digital camera we used to take pictures was toast! I lost pictures that can never be replaced!

Oh well. Here is a birthday card made for me by my stepmon, Michelle. (See Family & Friends page.) On the front is a picture of me and my dad from Easter 1999 at my cousin's house. Inside is a picture of me and Michelle at my great-grandmother's house in January of 1999. I'm not sure where or when the picture of Michelle and my dad was taken. It's from their travels in 1999.

Here's one of my Halloween costumes for Halloween 2000. The other was was a sexy, twisted dental hygienist, but I only got a lame, doofus picture of it so I won't show it here. This costume doesn't really have a name. How about Devil Ass?

Here's me in my first costume for Halloween 1998. (I had one for work and one for West Hollywood.) If you can't guess, I'm dressed as Slash from Guns 'n Roses circa 1989. By the way, that's my real hair. I grew it out for the costume.

The second costume for Halloween 1998 (a sailor). Which one do you like better? I've received some strong response to this costume. Apparently, I tapped into some psycho-sexual erotic imagery with it. Now that I have cable, I can see this "Sailor Moon" program. But I haven't gotten around to it yet.

A close up of costume number two. I look a lot like my mom in this picture. (She was never a sailor, though.)

Here's my costume for work for Halloween 1997. (I don't have a picture of the second one. Besides, a picture of my dominatrix outfit might end up on some other site. . . )

I initially wanted to be dead Princess Diana. (It's Halloween! Dead is good!) But the wig didn't work.

I ended up taking a poll of coworker opinion and being Jennifer Tilly. I mostly just wanted to wear that dress because I never go anywhere fancy. (At least I didn't at that time. It has since dramatically changed.)

By the way, that dress belongs to my friend Kim. (See Friends & Family page.) She loaned it to me for New Year's Eve 1996-7! She never asked for it back. Sometime in the early summer of 1999, I called her house to see if see wanted it back. (I was about to send it to the dry cleaners, so I was thinking about it.) Kim was on a business trip, but her boyfriend (now fiancé) said he'd give her the message asking her if she wanted it back. I haven't heard anything yet.
