John Grinaker
November 26,1958-November 10,1996

     I didn't know John Grinaker... not in life, anyway.  I know him only through his poems and songs.  In reading them, I regret that I never knew the person who wrote these words, but I'm grateful for a glimpse into his soul.  I want to thank my dear friend, Karen Pecnik, for allowing me to include some of his work on this web site, and sharing the legacy of words he left behind.
