Micheline Kreske,
the daughter of Casimir Kreske and the Duchess of Wiesbaden.
She moved to Paris in 1775.  She loved swings.  She swung
all the way through the French Revolution and eventually
wound up with a hernia.
 


Wladislaw Kreske.
He inherited the Kreske Castle and a
prearranged bride of noble birth.
 When he took his first look at her,
he was not overjoyed.
 
 


The peasants on the great Kreske estate decided to rebel
in 1815 when Wladislaw's son, Ignace, took over
as Lord of the Manor.
