Since there are to many Angels to describe, I have decided I would Pick my favorite one…Michael Not sure if there is one reason actually there are many. One, I was supposed to be named after him if I had been a boy..(but I am not chuckles) Perhaps it is that he is connected to Daniel in the Lions Den.. and my Little Angels name is Daniel…Well there might be numerous reasons, nontheless here are some thoughts and some background information on Michael…..

Archangel Michael is the 'Prince of Light' fighting a war against the Sons of Darkness in which he leads the angelic battle against the legion of the fallen angel, Belial. Michael is the protector of the Christian Church, guardian angel of Israel, and commander-in-chief of God's angel armies. He embodies the ideals of chivalry and service to the light.

Archangel Michael is believed to have appeared to Moses as the fire in the burning bush, and to have rescued Daniel from the lions' den. To Christians, he's the angel who informed Mary of her approaching death. Islamic lore recounts that his wings are the color of emerald, each covered with saffron hairs, each of them containing a million faces, each face with a million eyes, each eye shedding 70,000 tears.

In My research I have found that descriptions of the Angels often overlap. Michael is credited with most of the miraculous events in the Bible by some. Part of the reason for this stems from the Catholic church's refusal to accept many of the non-scripturally named angels as existant, therefore delegating biblical events to the three angels who were so named.Go figure......:}

The Quran clearly states that Satan was an angel, by virtue of the immense powers and rank bestowed upon him. Since it is a must in my book to see both sides this next Page goes more into the Darker Side of Angel's..Click here
