New Years Eve

It is symbolic to have the ending of a year and the starting of another . . . it gives one a moment to reflect back on a time period of their life . . . it gives one a moment to look into their past and release it, or to continue it, or evaluate it and start a fresh. And we say this to you, move on in Love. . . move on greater from what you have learned in the past. You are a result of your past and these experiences can now add to your strength of character. These experiences were the stepping stones to this new you are, do not turn back and collect these stepping stones and carry them into your future . . . for the weight of them will not allow you to move forward with ease. Put down the weight of your past. Leave it behind so that you may walk tall and straight into your New Year . . . as a new and more joyful you. It is a hard thing to be happy and joyful carrying great burdens. To release, it may be done in a prayer, such as this......"Dear Great and Holy One, Dear Father/Mother/Spirit/All That Is, I come to you to be born anew, in spirit, to be able to fly free from my past in spirit. I hand willingly to you the burdens of the past for they weigh me down and I can no longer find my way clear from the forest of confusion that I have become lost in. Please show me the Light of day, the new direction to follow, please clear my path so that I may walk down it free in spirit, knowing your Love is what guides me to new and joyous experiences . . . for I now willingly choose to choose the experience of Love and joy and inner contentment on the path of this New Year before me. And my heart already rejoices as I thank you for your continual help, guidance, support and Love. Amen."
