My Beliefs

My beliefs are rather varied. I have grown in a world that has many diverse needs and wants, and expresses them in variety of ways. I was born Absoroka (Crow) with a tad Choctaw, and Blackfoot thrown in for good measure, oh yes and that small teeny bit of Irish.

I believe in the connectedness of all beings, living and dead, extra-terrestrial and other. And I am a believer in the need for a true connection with our Mother the Earth and Our Father the Sky. We have brothers in the four winds, and relatives in all things. This together is the Great Spirit Grandfather.

If we think a thing, then that thing is. If we do a thing, then that thing lives. If we feel a thing, then that thing has spirit. That is why it is important to be in control, and to have bright eyes, and a clear heart. Everything we do effects everything.

Being in a minority ethnic group, I am keenly aware that all voices must be heard. I never looked at myself as being part of a group or a minority, although that is what I am. We are all the same, the sacred colors of the world, Red, Black, Yellow, and White. These are the sacred and Holy four colors of man, and we all bleed red.

So we are all the same. And we all can love the same. So when I speak to people, I speak as a member of the Human people, not as a single group. This, I am hoping people will eventually learn, before the big change.
