For the Christmas Vacation of 1987, Myself, Jeff O'Schwartz ,
Mike and Jim Sullivan all decided to
get Cavern and Cave certified by
Lamar Hires of  DiveRite.
We stayed at Jim Hollis River Rendevous in Mayo County.
Mayo is a Dry County but This place had more than 100 beers!!!
We had one day of open air classroom training
and the next day we hit the caves
After 3 days and 6 dives we received our Naui and NSS/CDS certification.
Cave diving training was the best dive training that I have taken.
It taught me more about what to do underwater than any other course,
that I have taken to date!!
