  1. Building as Education
    This is a paper about the building as more than a venue for learning, rather as an educational tool in itself.
  2. Labour Centre for Metro
    This argues for new labour centre to serve both union members and the general public.
  3. Integrated Arts Approach to Global Education
    This is a book-in-progress on my approach to Global Education.
  4. Labour Education in Secondary Schools
    This article discusses the theory and practice of teaching about unions in schools.
  5. Towards an Ecozoic Curriculum in the Visual Arts
    This is a book-in-progress concerning how visual arts teaching could contribute to a curriculum which promotes an ecologically sustainable approach to relations with Earth.
  6. Chess in Education
    This article is on the many useful lessons young people learn by playing chess.
  7. Architectural Research
    My architectural interests focus on salubrious, energy efficient, passive solar, autonomous houses in both urban and wilderness contexts.
  8. Coastal Cities Research
    This work with Peter Timmerman at IFIASinvolves creating flow diagram (client side) image maps which are to be interactively developed co-operatively by researchers around the world. Like a palimpset, there are to be multiple layers of embeded information. Eventually this work will be on the official website at Coastal Cites Project.
  9. Climate Change Research
    This work is a small component of a much larger project on climate change.

    I am a permanent contract teacher with the Toronto Board of Education, currently at OAKWOOD Collegiate. To date only my visual arts syllabus is on this web site. At Oakwood, I help out with the Chess cluband the Art Club.
