| Comments: Very nice site. Will recommend it to my friends |
| Comments: I am also a descendent of Peter Pitchlynn, on my mother's side. Her maiden name is Brenda Pitchlyn, she is descendent of the Choctaw's slaves and Choctaw Natives. I'm also related to the Burrises and the Harrises. All are Choctaw and some still live in OK. My father is black. My question is, would I be acceptable to the tribe. Not to join, but to just visit. The fact that I have ancestors who were tied to this land before any white man fascinates me. |

I visit his birthplace (McCurtain, OK) and where he is buried (Sans Bois, O ) as often as I can. I also search for all information on our background. It was great visiting your site. |
