BACH FLOWER REMEDIES

In the 1930's Dr. Edward Bach, a noted British physician, bacteriologist, and immunologist discoveredbacch.gif (34163 bytes) the amazing power of the flowers of the field. He dedicated his life to discovering a healing system that would address the central emotional causes of disease. Countless books have been written on the subject.

The remedies are the concentrated, liquid essence of 38 different flowers corresponding to specific emotional and mental states. Rescue Remedy (the 39th remedy) is a composite of 5 flower essences designed for emergencies. As these are vibrational remedies they can be used without concern in conjunction with herbal tinctures, homeopathic remedies, and even allopathic medications.

These remedies assist in stimulating an individual's potential for self-healing by balancing our vibration in regard to a specific emotion or state of mind.

Many people, after reading about these remedies, respond by saying, "I need all 38!" Sometimes it does feel that way! There are two ways to approach choosing remedies - consider either a current problem or emotional state you are dealing with (i.e., overwhelm, anxiety) or take a look at a common emotional state that is a thread throughout your life (i.e., anger, resentment). Choose your remedy accordingly. At times more that one essence may be suitable for you. The remedies may be combined very effectively. We suggest combining no more than 6 at a time.
These remedies cannot be harmful.

If you choose a remedy that is not appropriate for you it will simply have no effect. If an emotional or mental state is a temporary one it may require only a few doses to balance out the condition. On the other hand, if the state is a deep-rooted, long standing problem it may take some time to be relinquished by the system. These remedies, for the most part, work very gently and without much drama. The change happens at a pace to which people can easily adjust. Essentially, when physical or emotional relief is experienced, it may be time to stop taking the flower remedy.
