The quilts on display here were on the Oldquilt page several monthes ago.
The Quilts
The first quilt is dated May 23, 1894. It has all of its seams covered with the same interesting Victorian combination stitch.The second quilt has red and yellow borders. It is heavily embroidered on each seam and has several motifs within the blocks also.
The third quilt is also heavily embroidered and includes, among other motifs, a spider and web and a shark.
