Poems That Fit No Where Else

Pencils

As my mind ponders the mysteries of pencils
I wonder why they thought up stencils
or why they got lead inside of the wood
and if they'd make graphite ones if they could
and why yellow is the color they chose
or what makes us use them with our hands not our toes
I would where we'd be without this utensil
As my mind ponders the mysteries of pencils

The No Poem Poem

No inspiration or ideas
I feel like I'm in the poet powmias
I thought of many but they were all the same
cause at the end nothing came

I tried to write for days and days
looking for inspiration in operas, musicals, and plays
trying to think of what I thought
looking around for something I bought

Wait, what am I doing right now?
A poem! Oh wow.

I Wonder If

I wonder if Shakespeare
ever had trouble reading
I wonder if Johnny
ever had failure seeding
I wonder if Einstein
ever flunked a grade
I wonder if Edison
ever had his lights fade
I wonder if Houdini
ever lost his keys
because if they did
there's hope for you and me

Hidden Words

Our alphabet contains
words unnoticed and unseen
Let's start and I'll
show you what I mean

A stomach muscle
A-B starts us here
Next a misspelling
for those unable to hear

Two letters later
we now get a greeting
a simple H-I
but let me keep leading

after J-K-L-M
we are told N-O
then S-T-U-V
nickname of Stuart Vo

last letter we have
onomatopoeia for
a loud and restless
sound of a snore

I won't go into
the abbreviations I met
but go ahead yourself
word-searching in the alphabet

Moods

In all people
you can find
their emotions
their state of mind

Moods modified
by atmosphere
It makes one bold
or filled with fear

cautious, sad
joyful, annoyed
arrogant, glad
puzzled, paranoid

Moods come in existence
by any way of forming
from how you woke up
to how your friend woke up that morning

A form of feeling
a physical or psychic notion
The way we react
with feeling and emotion
