Here's some trivia you might not know!

Geography:

The Kingdom of Insipia lies on the southern coastal region of the Greater Continent. This land mass consists of 8 different geopolitical entities. Insipia, as already mentioned, the neighbouring Wizardoms of Nimaria and Seltecius, the Republic of Alliskantor, the Kingdoms of Hensara and Tulpunaland, the dessert wastelands of Trasgerror and finally the vast mountainous Krelltorian Empire in the North.
The Lesser Continent, known to it's inhabitants as Quascora, is made up of just two countries, Demoragia and Zamoresche and lies 760 miles to the West of the Greater Continent.
The inhabitants of these countries all live on the same side of the world (for which interestingly enough, none of them have a name). The other side of the world is unexplored.

Insipia is bordered along the majority of it's coastline by the Sumarian Ocean. It has five major settlements, the coastal towns of Costabundle and Sumara, the Western City of Bukorska, the Northern garrison town of Armagelta and the capital city, Anadeem.

A Guide to Anadeem:

The City of Anadeem makes a home for the Royal Court of King Reginald the Only. The Royal Castle, Castle Death lies at the centre of the city, inside a walled fortress. Beyond the walls lie the fields and farms of the Anadeem cityfolk. Anadeem offers the visitor a welcoming break from the everyday drudgery of Insipian life. The City boasts twenty drinking establishments. The jewel in the crown is the "Vampire's Tooth" on North Hayloft Street in the inner-walled section of the city. It boasts a magnificent 32 bedroom boarding house each with en-suite bucket. It's three tavern bars boast the finest ale and imported wines and spirits.
(We'll skip numbers 2 to 19 for reasons of brevity...)
Finally, in the Northern outskirts near the Elydeen Swamps we find the "Lamb and Werewolf". Your host, One-Eyed Sid will be delighted to serve you with the speciality of the house, "Belkin's Finest Stomach Ripper".

Religion:

The major religion practised on our world is Spherism. It's followers believe that a pair of magical concentric spheres envelope the world, one good and one evil. Quite how this came to be no-one knows as no-one actually knows what shape the world actually is. It is believed that each person is aligned to one of the two spheres which guides their life. In short a person is aligned to good or evil.
Certain people are born with the power to harness the spheres and use them for their own purpose. These people become the highest wizards, witches and magical practitioners who use their gifts (or curses) to further the wishes of their controlling sphere.

The Law:

There isn't any! Or rather there is depending on which country, wizardom or republic you happen to find yourself in. For instance, in Hensara it is illegal for a woman to slap your behind with a dead fish, whereas in the back streets of Armagelta, wealthy merchants will pay over 200 shekles for the service. Penalties also vary. For example a well-executed murder in the Krelltorian Empire gets you an invitation to join the Imperial college of Assassins, Cutthroats and Mercenaries, but in Zamoresche, if you let your bullock foul the streets on a public holiday, it's immediate execution (mind you though, you should see what they do to the bullock!).
One thing is certain though, in Anadeem, Sheep Worrying while not illegal, will get you into a heap of trouble!
