Creek Wannabegon

Welcome to Creek Wannabegon.  I hope you enjoy my quilts as much as I have enjoyed creating them.  As a child, I was fascinated by a quilt on my bed that my great grandmother had made. It was just a crazy patch, but included fabric from some of my clothes.  Later in college, I needed a theme paper for a required course ``Art 101".  So I wrote about my great grandmother's quilt and received an ``A".  That tweaked my quilt curiosity, but at that time there were no quilt classes.  I struggled along until the late l980's when I was finally able to enroll in some quilt classes. Here I am, twenty years later and I have finally declared myself a fiber artist. I am not sure what that means, but I do like to play with thread!
