We'd rented Labyrinth for him Monday and were too tired to see it earlier, so we were going to see it Wednesday. Which surprised me, as he hasn't even brought up his "I need free time" bit all week, I'd just assumed that he'd started only needing 1 day a week off, and it was Zoe's turn to miss this week. So I was pretty happy about that.
Well, guess what. Wednesday afternoon she came online before I did, and he told her what we were doing, and she apparently got pissed that he wasn't taking a day off, but wanted Sunday off when he hadn't even seen her last weekend. (I guess she's apparently NOT working Sunday like I thought). So guess what, now he had to take Wednesday off. I was disappointed, and not to mention feeling pissed at her for spoiling it for me because she's jealous. We were all going to hang out together after class Thursday, but now I wondered if I should do that if she's getting all needy again. (I still don't know what's going on there). He hated my saying that.
Discussion when she came on later just pissed me off. She thinks he always needs two nights off. And he agreed. I'm so not happy about it, but what can I do? I asked if he liked this, and he said "except for al lthe trouble it causes..."
So he took Labyrinth to go watch it with Melissa, and I spent the evening NOT studying for my icky ECS midterm, which I didn't understand at all, and cried and/or ranted to Melissa (before he got to her house) on IRC, and later on in e-mail. Her opinion on this is that I have to tell, but I really don't want to. She figures yes, there will be trouble if I object, but it should come out...I don't want there to be trouble!
