I am seeking employment in operations management for small to medium conference centers or retreat centers. I have a background in hospitality management and customer service, as well as a degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Denver. I am a strong worker, leader, and apt student. My sharp mind and diverse background will prove to be an asset in any situation. Some of the honors I have received are: Undergraduate Research Grant for Philosophy, Full Tuition Natural Sciences Scholarship in Mathematics, Guest Speaker for the University of Colorado Philosophy Club, Member of the 1997 University of Colorado at Denver Chancellor's Leadership Class. I have experience in computer programming, trouble-shooting, problem solving, carpentry, facilities maintenance, Web Design, Heavy machinery operation, and many other skills.
While I was doing my undergraduate work at the University of Colorado at Denver, I received a research grant in philosophy. I and my fellow grant recipients studied the works of Alfred North Whitehead with the intent to produce a aid for others to study this obscure 20th Century Philosopher.

I grew up around Regis High School and College in Denver. My father taught there. Still does. All of my siblings were associated with Regis in one way or another. There is a culture there. Now, cultures do not survive without their stories. This particular place has a rich spiritual history. The buildings have been there for over a century. The top two floors of the Adminstration Building are sealed off and condemned. That building was formerly a dorm and boarding school, all male. There is a lot of history there. And now the stories are not being told, the ghosts that haunt those halls fade, and the students lose a sense of where that are. What is a college campus without it's ghosts?

As a companion work to the Ghost Stories, there are a series of stories that I have told just because. Some of them have morals, some of them do not. All of them start in one of two ways: Long, long ago.... or Once upon a time.... These stories are my own fairy tales. They build my culture. I am of Norse and German and Irish descent, but I am a native of Colorado. I don't have stories pasted down from grandparent to child for generations. So, now, I tell my own. By telling the stories I create the culture that would be from. The stories shape the reality in which we live. What could be more powerful?
