and the invisible
Kandykain freed the beast. They discovered him to be a man who has
been cursed to
appear as a beast, and his name is Markus. While they were doing that,
a Colonel
accompanied by 40 soldiers arrived at the tent to administer another
dose of poison.
Thornbush convinced the Colonel that he would like to try to shoot the
poison at
Markus, inside. The Colonel agreed to let Thornbush try, but Thornbush
"accidentally"
poisond the Colonel instead. The platoon rose to strike back, and the
party fled. The
party managed to escape the army camp and took to thier horses and

Episode 5
Upon the night watch, Mel observed a large dragon, to the north near
the mountains,
appearantly scrounging for food. As morning neared, the dragon flew
over the party's
camp once - with no encounter, however, it circled back around after
hearing Markus
moving as the party hid. Being discovered, the party dispersed to
attack the creature.
Markus was plucked and taken up as food, but with his constant singing
and droning
message of heartfelt pity, the dragon is sickened and discards Markus.
The rest of the
party members begin to banter with song and quickly drive away the
dragon, finding
out that he does not appreciate song and music. The dragon boasted as
he fled that he
was going to do battle to the south. The party quickly broke camp and
rushed to thier
horses to warn thier countrymen and to intervene the battle. The party
discovered the
camp of thier routed enemy and visited thier camp before they awoke,
capturing each
one a fresh horse. The party made haste towards the army camp and when
they arrived
they found the army had left. Thornbush burned the remaining tents at
the army camp,
cutting the enemy staging post. The party rode further south in
persuit of the moving
army, but did not meet the army. They rode into the night, and as they
realized the
horses were too tired, they decided to stop. Then Kandikane wondered
what could
Daisy do with her crystal ball? After attempting to reach out with the
crystal ball to
someone who could hear her, Daisy contacted the Queen and alerted her
to the
impending attack.

Episode 6:
The Party holds up at the north edge of some woods and camps, quietly.
Markus awoke at midnight screaming the king is in Danger after a
disturbing nightmare. On the last watch, Thornbush is most critical in
his success to hear troop movement and some hint to the whereabouts of
the army. Mel rested in anticipation of spell use, while Kandykain
paced throughout her watch, waiting for the sun to rise. At last, when
morning came the party quickly rode to the south. As they rode they
planned thier moves. Daisy looked in again on the King, using her
crystal ball. She found the King in poor health, and a very confused
state. Daisy pleaded to the King to sing, however he was unable. Mel,
hearing the King not well, became very concerned to heal the king. It
was decided that Mel would split-apart from the rest of the party,
going invisible and silent straight past the army and to the King's
aid. Meanwhile, the rest of the party would try to distract the army
by acting as though Markus (beast-like) was persuing Daisy, Thornbush
and Kandicain in a barbaric manner. They all put on an excellent act,
arousing some of the army to laugh at thier follies.
Back at the
Castle, Mel went to find the King. He learned from the Queen the King
had locked himself in his high tower and that nobody would be able to
reach him in time. Mel was alerted himself that the party had found a
chime of opening. He went through his belongings to find it, and he
went to open the doors to the tower. Successfully reaching the King,
Mel sang his song of restoration, which the king sang along to as he
healed. Mel rested then, as the King rallied his own troops. As the
army was approaching and the party now being persued by horsemen, and
as the party crossed the the front lines of the army, they raced
towards the city. The party reeled and made a stand before the city
walls. The archers of the city were merciless in thier defense against
the horsemen, and Daisy, Thornbush, Kandikane, and Markus finished off
the falling approaching calvary. As the attacking infantry lined-up
out of range from the archers, the party entered the city and the
gates were closed. As they made thier way to the wall defenses, the
party witnessed the arrival of the dragon. The dragon swooped on the
city and brought soldiers in his grasp. The dragon landed and faced
the King in combat. Daisy recruited old people and children to assist
in song. The city sang. The dragon was unbalanced and was unsuccessful
in most of his attacks, being irritated and distracted from the music.
All the party, the King and his men, concentrated thier attacks on the
dragon, singing all the while. Finally, the King dealt the killing
blow to the Dragon. The attacking army, who had been scaling the wall
and breaching defenses were stunned to see thier ally defeated.
Momentum then swung against the attacking army as the King Opened the
gates and released his infantry, the sent the attackers running using
his own calvary. Thornbush hacked the head of the dragon and the
Kingdom Cheered.
