Riverworld Chat Rooms will be located in Yahoo Adult Chat and will always begin with RIVERWORLD (all caps). The rooms may describe different parts of the planet or different man made or ethical made structures on the planet. Some of the most commonly seen will be RIVERWORLD - Camp, RIVERWORLD - Riverboat, RIVERWORLD - Grailstone, and so forth. Characters may appear in only one of these locations at a time.

Each chat room should be hosted by a person knowledgeable in the series and in the game mechanics. Based on the experience of hosting chat rooms for more then a year, the best chat environments involve from two to fifteen people. The chat room host will set a maximum for the room to prevent too many participants from appearing. The host should post a brief description of the environment and list himself/herself and any assistants as the host(s) when creating the room.
