loss of self

loss of self was taken in late october 1996, and is another aspect of my trans/displaced temporal period.
the intent of the image is to enlighten the viewer, to the fact they only "experience" reality at a merely mundane level, it is an attempt to reach out to my audience from another temporal perpective, a metaphorically calling from the past, to a self that no longer can be.
but not to deny that, that self has, will, and did exist, and to come to terms the with highly complex relationship between what we percieve as reality and what is reality.
