Justin is a vicious, clever, magical genius. A world-famous (well, in sadistic circles, anyway) artist, he has captured torture and pain in ways never before imagined. While he outwardly portrays the giddy "artiste," his true mission is to eradicate his single greatest enemy, a member of clan Tremere, from existence. This goes beyond obsession into fanatacism. He indirectly controls, in one fashion or another, the voodoo population of the South Central section of the U.S. Justin has just recently called a "truce" with the rest of Clan Tremere, a result of the actions of the good Doctor Geoffrey Pemberton, who has provided Justin with a usable material link to his hated enemy, as well as Clan Tremere's permission to deal with the verminous dog as Justin sees fit.
Although Justin is a Camarilla Kindred by choice, and keeps the Masquerade, he makes the other Camarilla nervous, as you might imagine. The reason for this is that he has forsaken his Humanity for the Path of Voodoo. His focus is Revenge and Death, so don't piss him off.

Background:
Although he was orphaned at an early age, Justin Crowe learned that his natural artistic abilities could always get him a meal, or at least close enough to steal something. He easily made a small name for himself on the streets of his native New Orleans by drawing portraits of tourists and locals alike. He had an uncanny eye for detail that made his portraits and caracatures dead on accurate. It was this ability that brought him to the attention of "Papa Erzulie" the petro Bokor (dark Priest) of the local voudon assemblage.
Papa Erzulie, named for the loa of Death and Revenge, wanted the finest of veves (loa symbols) for his hounfort (temple). He offered the boy a home, as
well as a measure of his own power as Cheval (horse) to the loa which gave him his name. Justin readily accepted and prospered.
As Justin approached manhood, his master was approached by a mysterious stranger, who secreted himself and the master away for an entire evening. As Justin lay down to sleep, he felt the magical alarms his master had placed activate, and so he followed the instructions he was given, taking several books from his master's library and retreating to the hiding place specified.
Upon his return, Justin found the hounfort destroyed, his master slain, and the peoples scattered. They would only speak of some terrible tonton macoute when questioned about the events of that night.
Justin then began to travel, searching for sites that matched his own dark vision of the world. As usual, he sketched and drew, painted and carved, almost compulsvely. His reputation as an artist capable of capturing pain, grief, agony, and the sadist pleasures of torture grew very quickly, until his work was hanging in museums, and galleries and private collections around the world.
It was while touring the building site that would one day come to be infamous as Auschwitz that Justin met Abrahem, a German Toreador composer capable of creating sweet music of such unbearable torment that Justin was quickly and completely enraptured. Abrahem eventually offered Justin the opportunity to create his art for all eternity. Justin swiftly accepted.
When he awoke to the shadows of the world of the Dark Grace, Justin rapidly learned to master his expanded abilties. His Sire explained the Traditions, and the Clans. Eventually, Justin learned that his former master and friend had been slain by a member of a clan of vampires called "Tremere," presumably for his voudon magics. Thus began a burning hatred which has lasted from that night to this.
Justin reclaimed the mantle of Petro Bokor to the peoples and makes the magic of Death and Revenge this very night.
Appearance:
Well-dressed in current styles, favoring tweeds and silks, with a long brown ponytail and beard. Piercing slate-gray eyes, aquiline nose, broken twice, and a hard set to his mouth. Six feet-two inches tall, with a tendency to lean in close when speaking with someone. Justin uses oil of peppermint across his upper lip, to give mortals the impression of breath mints.
When in his official capacity as Bokor, Justin paints his face with jeju ash made from the cremation of unbaptised infants, tracing patterns across his brow, he also sings to call the loa. He will have tied several fetishes to his long hair, which flows as free as his nature.
Theme:
"Tubular Bells" (the love theme from The Exorcist)
Politics:
"Begone, fool! Dere is no Art in pretending dat I care of such t'ings. Stay out of my affairs, lest you learn de meaning of regret."
Quote:
" *Yawn* Yes, I am impressed by your mastery of magic, little Tremere, but I would much prefer to see you try without your tongue." *RRRIIIPPP*
"Dere. Dat is much better."
