Just a Doodling


Faith

Chores and more chores seem to never cease,
For just as I think I've finished I find yet another piece.
I know my life is paid for, but I still walk another mile.
Worrying about every little thing with God waiting all the while.
He's always there just waiting, holding out His hands,
Reaching out and knocking at my door letting me know that He understands.
He knows the misery and He knows the pain,
He knows what slowly drives me insane.
He just waits for me to reach out and grab hold of His hand,
For it's with Gods strength that I shall withstand.
Nothing in this world is worth me loseing it all,
For when I speak of worth I mean the price of His call.
I must do His will for to do other would be insane,
And for me to do my own will I would lose the gain.
I must have faith and act according to it,
For God shall not put upon more than I can take, for He shall guide me thru it.
Never a fleeting moment that God does not have control.
He lets us do what we need to do, but He has control of our soul.
Sometimes if misery prevails it's because we have a lesson to learn.
It may be because we're going the wrong way and we must quickly turn.
But yet when we find ourselves walking in His light,
We also find everything working out just right.
And it's only because we'll have claimed God as number one
And no good deeds will have been anything of which I've done.
For the only good is which Jesus provides
And only good things will be where Jesus abides,
So have faith and put Jesus in your heart
And He'll show you where misery ends and happiness will start.
