A disclaimer, I haven't wrote much music in the past three years.
I've played alot and write songs, but that is different...so these
are old...most of what will be up as of now, I wrote between the
ages of 12 and 19; I'm twenty-two now and lack the horrible patience
it requires to write a piece of music, orchestrate it and maybe even
sequence it. I'm lazy. Maybe this page will be update more than
once again.
Anyone can use these pieces for the background music of their pages,
granted they notify me and credit me.
"The Clowns and the Carolled" is a piece of
program music...about Clowns going Carolling.
A Sequenced & Orchestrated Piece I don't
recall putting the instruments to this but
somehow I did get around to it. I don't
remember which sketch this came out of.
"A Fanfare for Brass" is just that a fanfare
meant to introduce something. When I
began to orchestrate this it had strings
and wind in it, but only tertiary. I
assume this was intended to introduce a
sketch...I never got to it.
"A Largo - Gothic" I began a series of Largos
and Adagios and this was one of them.
The title refers to the Gothic period of
literature (not SoM). If anything, I'll
work on more of this series.
"Largo for String Quartet" is another out of that
series. In all there are maybe five
Largo and Adagio compositions.
"Adagio for Recorders" is the third in the series.
"Guitar in A" finishes in A and spends
some of its time around it...
"Atlas Rising" is a movement out of a larger sketch.
As far as commenting on the sketch...
It's about the apocalypse and the trumpet
or whatever blasting instrument calls it.
"The Court Jester", the title is descriptive.
"Experiment Using Secundal Harmony", my first experiment
using non-traditional harmony. One of about
40 pieces using secundal harmony, it can be
quite lovely.
