Benjamin Kincaid was born in Wisconsin and
moved to Liberty Creek with his father and younger brother, Joe just a year before the Marshall family.
Together with some hired hands, the three established a successful cattle ranch. Benjamin's father died when he was twenty-one,
leaving the ranch to his two sons. That same year, Benjamin began seeing Victoria Marshall. Benjamin
had been in love with her since he was seventeen. They share a love for Liberty Creek as well as their children. Benjamin is tall and strong with bright red, curly hair; sparkling blue eyes; dimples when he
smiles; and a cleft in his chin. Benjamin disapproved of Joe's handling of this Stuart situation and did not support him.
