The local "landmark" is the North Park Water Tank. There used to be a sign that proudly proclaimed that it was the largest water holding tank west of the Mississippi. They took the sign down years ago. Either its ranking in the hierarchy of huge water tanks ceased to be a source of civic pride or, perhaps, someone somewhere built a bigger one.
